Learn to Produce Content
The fastest way to start caring about a technology is to start producing it yourself. Be empowered by your media and the things you enjoy - not denigrated. I noticed this problem when I started thinking about how I never heard a voice like mine in the audiobooks I was consuming. I set out to change that. It is my goal now to continue to teach audio production skills so that more voices are reflected, greater audiences of people are engaged, and stories are shifted.
